Riyazat, originally a member of the Yandaq tribe, becomes part of the Halgals through her marriage to Joruk Halgal.

Appearance[]

Riyazat has large, expressive eyes and can generally be seen with a smile on her face. Riyazat's long, black hair is far thicker than most other women. But she wears her hair in the same multiple braids. She is of average height. Her clothing is that of a woman of the steppes and meant to protect from the cold.

Personality[]

Riyazat is generally cheerful and is upfront about what she wants with no regard for others surrounding her. She is capable of riding a horse.

Plot[]

Riyazat was one of many participants in the race held for Azel Halgal to choose a potential bride. When Joruk is riding in the race, she approaches him first on her horse and says she'll deliberately lose to Joruk in the race if he wants to choose her as his wife. Joruk, flustered, asks her if she's serious and then mentions that he's not sure about cheating in the race for which Riyazat calls him a coward. When Azel wins the race and asks Jahan for permission for Joruk and Baimat to choose brides, Jahan agrees. As soon as it is Joruk's turn to choose a bride for himself, Riyazat latches onto his arm and announces to everyone that Joruk has chosen her. The two soon marry.

Joruk Halgal[]

Riyazat had approached Joruk upon seeing him for the first time during the race hosted by the Yandaq tribe, calling Joruk cute. In the aftermath of Azel's victory Joruk and Riyazat marry. On their wedding night Riyazat decides to make tea but Joruk stops her, offering to make it himself. Flustered while asking what Riyazat wants, Riyazat hugs Joruk and asks him how many kids he wants before telling him that she wants ten children in total made up of five boys and five girls. After this Riyazat kisses Joruk and rests her head against his.
